Our Story
Mortgage Loans Australia Pty Ltd (MLA) evolved from a small family partnership of husband and wife, David and Wendy Scott. The partnership was originally known as Albury-Wodonga Home Loans, and was established in February 1998 when David left the ANZ Bank after 16 years of service. Albury-Wodonga Home Loans quickly grew as David soon built an impeccable reputation in the local area. A number of loan writers were soon established in Albury-Wodonga and many other areas. With many loan writers being located outside the Albury-Wodonga area and with the annual turnover increasing rapidly, David and Wendy decided it was time for their business to evolve to that of a Company and to also adopt a new name that would suit their expanding business. David and Wendy have lived and ran Mortgage Loans Australia on the Sunshine Coast since 2003. David is well known in the community through his sponsorships of numerous sporting organisations and individuals. Currently, Mortgage Loans Australia sponsor the Noosa Tigers AFC. Mortgage Loans Australia has won countless awards over the past 10 years and continues to be a leader in the mortgage broking industry.
